Directions to the venues for training Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Getting around in Copenhagen is easy. There’s a metro, s-train and an extensive bus service.

Danes are very friendly, so if you’re in doubt, just ask the first person you meet, everybody speaks English – so just go for it.

The turist board has made a site about transport in and about Copenhagen.

From the Airport to Copenhagen City Centre
Take the metro from “Lufthavnen Station” (Metro) line M2 to “Hovedbanegarden” or “Norrebro Station”. “Hovedbanegården” is the main station and it offers good and safe storrage for your stuff, if you don’t want to take it along to the training hall.

How to get to the Capoeira events friday, saturday and sunday
Please note!!! The training locations vary during the week, so look carefully below for directions to each location:

Directions Friday 22. november 2019:
Prøvehallen
Porcelænstorvet 4,
2500 Copenhagen

On Friday, saturday and sunday we are training at Prøvehallen which is a nice training gym located in Copenhagen Valby. From outside the building looks like a thearter and also has a theater, hence the name beside “Teater V”. You enter between the sign that says “Prøvehallen” and “Teater V”. In front of the door, walk through and turn left in to the hall and walk upstairs to the second floor. The hall we will be in i called “Idrætshallen” and is a large sports hall.

Please note: We are sharing this location with a theatre so as you enter please respect that the entrance area is for the guests at the theatre. We have our space upstairs on the second floor.

Good to know:
The building only has shower rooms on the first floor, and you need to be aware that it is a public building, so keep your belongings with you at all times. Don’t leave your stuff in the changing rooms when you leave. There is no staff looking after it and the training is upstairs. Toilets are on all floors.
