Born in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Educated doctor of veterinary medicine.

Works at Novo Nordisk in Copenhagen.

Dino Garcia was born in Brazil and has played Capoeira since 1991. I 1995 he started teaching Capoeira at the University of Rio de Janeiro.

In 2000 Dino visited Copenhagen with a travelling capoeira show from made up of masters and professors from Brazil, and decided to stay behind. The year after he started training Capoeira in Denmark.

Today he is a much sought after trainer at Work Shops in Denmark and around Europe.

Dino has hosted Capoeira Work Shops at the Roskilde Festival, and has acted in several plays: “Kodernes kamp/The war of the worlds” (Brændstof projekt), Aveny-T’s "Nødeknækkeren/thenutcracker" og Reumert price show at the Royal Danish Theatre. He has also been involved with the cartoon "Odins Øje/ The eye of Odin" and many music videos.

Dino also works as an samba musician, as a part of the samba band Os Elementos.
